The English Department's mission is to equip our students with the skills to confidently understand and respond to various forms of communication, both written and spoken while maintaining grammatical accuracy appropriate for their age level, whether encountering familiar or unfamiliar content. We offer a variety of extracurricular activities and opportunities for students to further explore their interests in the English language and literature. From book clubs to literary magazine publications, students are encouraged to engage actively in the literary community and pursue their passions outside of traditional coursework. Through personalized attention and tailored instruction, we strive to cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills in our students.
