NISOTSAV 2019-2020

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

  • The Winners who secured First, Second and Third positions will receive certificates and medals. In addition, winners will also get points based on positions, which will be as follows:

  • (Individual events)First - 5 Points , Second - 3 Points & Third - 1 Point

  • (Group events)First - 10 Points , Second- 7 Points & Third - 5 points

  • The contestants scoring the highest points in individual items will be honored as KALATHILAKAM(Girls)/ KALAPRATHIBHA (Boys)

  • Participation in at least one of the solo/group dance event in girl’s category.

  • Participation in at least one of the group event in boy’s category.

  • Participation in STEM is compulsory in senior’s category.

  • These titles will be honored separately for juniors and seniors.

  • The class teachers should handover the filled entry forms to the respective teachers on or before 15th October.

  • Class teachers are responsible to handover collected entry forms on time. Organizers should not be held responsible for any missing registration forms in late submission.

  • The chest numbers for all of the group events will be provided through a lot.

  • A participant will be permitted to enter for a maximum of six individual on stage events.

  • The minimum number of entries to qualify as an item will be four for individual events. If the entries are less than the minimum on closing day of entries, item will be declared as cancelled and individuals will be intimated through the house leaders. However, the youth festival organizers reserve their right to amend the conditions any time for smooth running of the festival.

  • After confirming as an item, if the numbers of contestants are less than three on Youth Festival day, the performance will be allowed on the stage, with awarding prizes and points.

  • Replacement of contestants in any group items should be intimated well in advance. If not, he/she will not be included in the list for winner certificate and trophy.

  • The decision of Panel of Judges shall be final and abiding to all.

  • The parents/ participants/school authorities will have no right to contact judges directly. Complaints from parents/teachers/students will not be entertained, however, in case of any discrepancy; the authorized school representative (house in –charge/ house captains ) can submit a written complaint to the Principal soon after declaration of the results.

  • Contestants should collect their Chest Number from the counter, for each and every item separately, at least half an hour before the contests scheduled to take place.

  • The contestants should complete their makeup and costume one hour before the event to be staged.

  • If contestants are not available at the venue even after third call, the organizers will have the right to cancel his /her participation.

  • The sequence of participation will be decided in the order of chest number issued, excluding for the group events. At the same time, the organizers reserve their right to make any ultimate arrangements for the smooth running of youth festival and to avoid overlapping of events.

  • Defaulters in time limit will be disqualified.

  • Youth Festival committee will bear no responsibility for any loss or damage.

  • The items presented by the contestants must be totally free of any political or religious undertones.

  • It is allowed to use announcements or background music for fancy dress and mono act.

  • It is allowed to use recorded audio/ video for the group events and dubsmash.

  • Decision of judges will be final on the quality of live audio/ recorded audio.

  • During the closing ceremony, Overall Championship Trophy will be awarded to the Houses which scores the highest points.

  • Parents are asked to send the snacks and drinks with their wards.

  • The HOD’s of English, Hindi& Malayalam and in-charges of selfie and art should submit the screening results and final results to youth festival committee on or before 27th October.

  • The House leaders should submit the audio needed for the group events to Mr. Majeed on or before 27th of October.

  • The participants should submit the required video / audio files for all events(except selfie) to the house in charges latest by 27th October.

  • The house teachers should submit the participant’s bus transportation list to Mr Shiju( Head of transportation) after screening.

  • The participant whose names are not in the list will not be provided the bus transportation.

  • The late submission will not be considered for the same.

  • The in-charge teachers are responsible to give correct spelling, class& division of the participants of group events.
